Steven Strasburg Shines Again

Washington Nationals hope-of-all-pitching hopes, Steven Strasburg, struck out six and gave up no hits and no runs in his latest outing Tuesday in Double-A for the Harrisburg Senators.

Offensively he drove in the only run of the night in a 1-0 Harrisburg win in game one of a rain-induced doubleheader.

In other rehab news, Brad Lidge threw two scoreless innings in relief for the Reading Phillies- striking out four in his second appearance with the R-Phils.

Re-Lidge-ous Experience...

Congrats to the world champion Philadelphia Phillies and closer Brad Lidge (pictured, thanks tsn.ca). The Phils won the first ever W.S. rain-delayed Game 5 by defeating the Tampa Bay ((don't say Devil)) Rays 4-3.

The Phils won the Series 4-1, and I'm sure were happy to shut the door on the Rays while still in Citizens Bank Park. The 28-year wait is over...
