Subban Game Winner Puts Habs In Playoffs

The Chicago Blackhawks were trying to make a point ((actually, two points)) in the Montreal season home finale last night, but PK Subban would have none of it...

And after the goal, neither would Carey Price who beat Subban in a game of butt-buck...

Bruins-Habs Was Old Time Hockey... Including An Almost Goalie Fight...

It may have been carry-overs from games past, but the general chippiness of the Boston-Montreal game was SO chippy that the game itself took almost three full hours...

Something the league tried to rectify since, these days, most games go 2:35 or so...

But the game had Boston up 2-0 only to have the game tied at 3... only to have a 5-3 lead wiped away before winning 8-5...

And, no, that's not a misprint...

The game had three separate brawls break out... including a wrestlefest between goalies Tim Thomas and Carey Price...

Carey Price is right on Cam Janssen

Easily the best hockey hit/fight of Wednesday night. Check out Montreal Canadiens Goalie Carey Price who skates out of the Goalie crease to level St. Louis Blues Winger Cam Janssen as he skates towards the puck along the boards. Price crushes him (though the poster says Janssen won the battle) with a hip check and this being Hockey...a pier sixer ensues....
