Bosh bumps Heat by Bulls

It was the 3rd Beatle that did it. Chris Bosh dropped 34 points, including 8 straight shots, leading the Miami Heat to a game 4, 96-85 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

The win keeps the Heat undefeated at home and puts the Bulls at a 2-1 deficit in the Best of 7, Eastern Conference Finals series.

The Bulls didn't get much from their start, Derrick Rose, though he did score 20, Carlos Boozer led them with 26 points and 17 rebounds. It wasn't enough.

The Heat have a chance to jump out to a hugely commanding lead, with game 4 coming up Tuesday night, again in Miami.

Chris Bosh has a Basketball Jones....

In the past, we've been fans of now Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh. He's shown a good sense of humor, he's been willing to parody and mock himself and for that, we thank you.

He's also moved from being "The Man" as a Toronto Raptor, to being the "Third Amigo" in Miami with the Heat. And he has struggled a bit in that role, as the Heat, haven't been quite as dominant as everyone expected them to be.

LeBron Center to Miami? Sportswriters pass out from the Heat...

We are still trying to figure out who is in a bigger frenzy about where LeBron Center will end up playing basketball. Is it sports fans or is it the sports media?

While fully realizing that one of the more talented basketball players in the current generation decides to make up his mind where he wants to play, it is of some interest. However, not the interest at the current levels.

According to the latest report with the latest...from Alan Hahn at Newsday, LeBron Center is going to go play in Miami with the Heat.

While we sort of get the logic, he wants to play ball with his friends Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh; we don't yet understand why they will already be dubbed "Basketball's Greatest Team". Has anyone else noticed that they only have two players on the roster right now? Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley.

While the 5 of them would be a nice starting team, we are pretty sure that they will need reserves. And for what its worth, with 3 near max contract players, there isn't going to be a whole lot of money available for those reserves. Sure, 3 great players, 2 good players and 7 D-leaguers will fill out your roster, but it doesn't guarantee anything.

Finally, will someone just tell the Sports Media community (us included) to please "SHUT THE HELL UP!". We heard you....oh....the 463rd time that LeBron Center is going to make his decision today. Does anyone who's job it is to write sports stories for newspapers and the 4-letter word think we don't know what's going on? We know the 4-letter word thinks that we are all stupid and that we should bow in there presence, but we heard you...really...we did.

Oh...and as for LeBron Center and his PR people, you do realize that the largely cynical sports and blogging community think you are a bunch of idiots....don't you? Come on...an infomercial on the 4-letter word? Of all the arrogant, self-serving, ego-maniacal things that you could come up with for the announcement....that's the best you could do? Pretty sad. Though I guess since the 4-letter has given you most of their air-time for the past month, what's an extra couple of hours on a Thursday night?

Oh yeah...who's got money on whether the Heat story will happen or not?

Can someone please explain why NBA Free Agency is the big Sports....and News story of the day? Sure, there are some pretty good ballplayers that will be changing homes, but, there is an awful lot more going on in the U.S and World right now which would render this somewhat irrelevant.

On the heels of LeBron Center (Call me "King") James announcing/leaking that he will be gracing us with a 60-minute infomercial on Thursday, comes word that two of the "Other Guys", have decided what they are going to do on Wednesday.

Multiple outlets are reporting that Chris Bosh will join Dwayne Wade in Miami and play for the Heat.

The Miami Herald says that someone else says so RIGHT HERE

Unlike LeBron Center, Wade actually has a championship ring. Bosh, played for Toronto.

The interesting part of this is that the "Chips" are now falling into place. Amare' Stoudamire to New York, Joe Johnson stays in Atlanta, these guys going to South Beach. The question now is where does LeBron Center go? He no longer can be "The Guy" anywhere other than Cleveland. Though if he stayed there, I might have a little more respect for his entourage. I think, remember, think, that LeBron center wants to be respectful to Northern Ohio, but I also think that LeBron Center has to be the guy wherever he plays. You can now cross New York and Miami off of that list.

Bosh Fractures Face In Cavs Loss

The Toronto Raptors' Chris Bosh was inadvertently struck by an Antawn Jamison elbow as the two went for position in the lane in the opening minutes. Bosh, was bleeding from his nose and mouth area as he was assisted from the floor. He was immediately taken to the Cleveland Clinic for a CT scan.

Following the game, the Raptors said tests showed Bosh suffered a "maxilla and nasal fracture to the right side of his face." Bosh is not travelling with the team. He is to be kept in the hospital overnight for further evaluation.

The Raps are holding on to the 8th-seed in the East...

Strange...

Apparently some NBA players have taken a page from last years Chris Bosh video in which he tried to get himself picked for the All-Star Game. Milwaukee Bucks Forward Joe Alexander has found his own niche' with this. He, I think enlisted the help of the Bucks video department and a couple players from the team. Take a look:

I have to admit, it was kind of funny in a dry way. Alexander, a rookie forward from West Virginia hasn't really done a lot to distinguish himself in his first NBA season, though this might help a bit.
