T-Wolves Firing Rambis...??? Did He Flunk Homework Assignment...???

Minnesota Timberwolves President David Kahn said last week that he asked current head coach Kurt Rambis to write a report about the changes he would make if he is retained for a third season as head coach.

Rambis has two years left on a four-year deal and he has a career 32-132 record so far...

Kahn says he and Rambis met for four hours before his homework assignment was given, and the two met to discuss the report Rambis turned in.

The reason the HQ tells you about the beginning is that Yahoo!Sports is reporting that Rambis will not be retained...

A source close to Rambis told ESPN's Ric Bucher that Rambis' firing is "not true," and that Kahn wouldn't talk about speculation of any kind...

This comes two days after the introduction of Ricky Rubio to the Twin Cities...


FOSG Adrian Wojnarowski says that the T-Wolves are looking at Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar as the replacement, and he will be named after the completion of the NBA Draft.

T-Wolves GM Fined For Talking Beasley And Pot

The NBA has fined Minnesota Timberwolves president David Kahn $50,000 for his comments about forward Michael Beasley's marijuana use.

The league also fined the Timberwolves organization another $50,000 on top of that for what it called "inappropriate comments."

In an interview with KSTP-AM 1500 ESPN, Kahn called the recently acquired Beasley "a very young and immature kid who smoked too much marijuana" while he was playing in Miami.

Nicely put without the filter...

Kahn has not been known recently for his intellect or his acumen...
