Deion Sanders and Marshall Faulk led a class of seven voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Joining them were Shannon Sharpe, Richard Dent, Ed Sabol, Les Richter and Chris Hanburger.

Les Richter played linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams from 1954-62. They traded 11 players for him and waited two years while he was in the military before he suited up. He went to eight straight Pro Bowls. He also was a center and kicker.

Welcome to the NFL Dez Bryant

It looks like now former Oklahoma State star receiver Dez Bryant may have played his last game for T. Boone Pickens...oops...I'm sorry Mike Gundy and the Cowboys. The NCAA in its infinite wisdom has officially suspended the Junior Wide Out until October...of 2010. The suspension according to most reports had to do with him lying, not once but twice to the NCAA about his meetings with Deion Sanders this past summer.

The University is obviously appealing the decision and may have an answer as soon as next week. The NCAA however isn't know for being overly lenient or really kind to pretty much anyone other than the TV Networks. Maybe this will be the exception, we don't know. It's unfortunate that a bad decision by a 22 year old who didn't know what he did wrong may result in him not getting to finish his season. The one thing it does do would be to push Bryant to the NFL where he probably will be a First Round pick next season.

Deion: Agent Not At Dez Bryant Meeting

OSU wideout Dez Bryant lied to the NCAA when asked if he had ever been to Sanders house and was ruled ineligible on Wednesday for violating NCAA Bylaw 10.1.

When asked if his former agent and friend Eugene Parker was present at his house when Bryant was there, Sanders said. “Not whatsoever. His girlfriend was present, my wife was present and we played basketball and had a good home cooked meal.”

Sanders stated that Bryant was ruled ineligible because he was nervous and falsified the information on his own.

Sanders says he talks to Bryant a few times a week, and actually asked the OSU coaching staff if it was okay to talk to him before the relationship evolved into what it is today.

Jason La Canfora "interviewed" Deion Sanders at the NFL Network studio Sunday to "Clarify" what is and/or was going on there at Prime Time's casa.

Earnhardt + Ganassi = New Nascar Math

An economy makes for strange bedfellows... NASCAR is no different...

It appears, according to those wire services and other sources that are around, that Teresa Earnhardt and Chip Ganassi will be merging their race teams to create a mega-squad for the 2009 season. The new venture will be called "Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing."

The four drivers in play are:

Martin Truex, Junior- He has a fully-sponsored ride for next year from DEI.

Aric Almirola- He does not...

Juan Pablo Montoya ((pictured, thanks chipganassiracing.com))- He's half-sponsored from the Ganassi side of the family.

Some fourth driver to be named later during the Silly Season- This would be to drive the Ganassi #41 car. It has a fully-sponsored car but, obviously, no driver.

The only other questions... other than sponsors and drivers... is what exactly they'll all be driving. DEI fields Chevrolets. Ganassi drives Dodges.

The idea is for all four to drive for the bowtie...
