You don't mess with Manny Pacquiao

And there is a reason for that. Pacquiao proved yet again that he may be the best fighter in the world after he completely manhandled Antonio Margarito.

In fact, you could say that he broke Margarito's face, when it was revealed after the fight that Margarito had a fractured orbital bone.

The only real remaining question is will Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, the other supposedly greatest fighter out there ever meet. The answer to that is....who knows?

For his part, Mayweather's legal issues have been pretty well documented and it is one reason there isn't an agreement already in place. Those in the Pacquiao camp say Mayweather is ducking their guy, and there may be something to it.

You can expect a lot of money to be thrown around for the two to fight and eventually...it will happen. But probably not before Floyd takes care of his legal problems. Either way....if I were him. I wouldn't want any part of Pacquiao...but that's just me.

For those of you waiting for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to fight Manny Pacquio, you might be waiting for awhile. The reason. Mayweather has some major legal problems to deal with.

Mayweather is now facing 4 felony charges and 4 misdemeanor charges in Las Vegas for an altercation/incident with his now ex-girlfriend a little over a week ago.

We are pretty sure, without being legal experts, that Mayweather and his legal team will be tied up for the next few months. Already they are trying to discredit the ex-girlfriend Josie Harris. For her part, Harris had to be treated after the original incident at an area hospital.

This isn't Mayweather's first brush with the law, he faced domestic violence charges back in 2002. However, if you read the article that we linked to, it also has the arrest report and criminal complaint and quite honestly. It doesn't sound very good.

Gatti Death Ruled Suicide

The cororners report is in on the death of former boxer Arturo Gatti...and the verdict is...suicide. The former Welterweight champion's body was found on July 11th by his wife in Brazil. Unfortunately, the Brazillian authorities assumed that his wife, Amanda Rodrigues was the one who killed him and they threw her in jail. She has since been released.

This puts an end to a violent and strange story of one of Boxing's most legendary competitors. Gatti, who was in Brazil on a "Second Honeymoon" with his wife and 10 month old, leaves a legacy of classic fights including battles with: Oscar DeLaHoya and Floyd Mayweather.
