Fun with Mascots...well sort of!

Imagine being the Sports Director at the #3 Television station in Savannah, Georgia and having to cobble together a "Local" Sportscast. That was the challenge that Friend of the OSG "Big" Frank Sulkowski had on Monday night. Big Frank decided to take his show live to the Savannah Sand Nats (or is it SandGnat?)game...well, anyway... Monday's promotion, Mr. Met Bobblehead night. (Don't ask us why Mr. Met...just roll with it). And Big Frank got the pleasure of conducting an interview...in mascot sign language.

So boys and girls...that is how you fill time on your 6 o'clock Sportscast when you don't have a whole lot going in the middle of the Summer. As always, Big Frank was his usual funny self...though we worry a bit that Mr. Met seemed a bit preoccupied with the idea of going out on the town and tying one on...so to speak.

Your Stafford/Moreno Postgame

Here's how it went down in Athens, Georgia earlier Wednesday as both University of Georgia QB Matthew Stafford and tailback Knowshon Moreno declared their intention to go professional and leave the college ranks and the SEC grind behind.

We defer our sound to the Big Guy, Frank Sulkowski, and his merry band of folks at ABC 22/Fox 28 in Savannah, Georgia. You get bonus coverage of local stuff as well, but you know, family first... hey, he's famous and all that...

Catching Up With Big Frank
