No Charges In Vick Shooting

And the world is stunned...

The suspect in the shooting near Club Guadalajara after Michael Vick's 30th birthday party has been identified by police, but he will not be charged at this time, according to Virginia Beach police.

Due to a "lack of cooperation by the shooting victim and witnesses," the Commonwealth will not file charges. And since the individual ID'd will not be charged, his name will not released, police said.

Police have also said that there are no other suspects in this case, which includes Michael Vick.

The HQ is not surprised that Quanis Phillips et al. refused to cooperate. It's a product of the culture and the history of the principles in this case...

Vicks Denying Everything... Naturally...

The Vick brothers are now telling everyone who will listen that they had nothing to do with the shooting at Club Guadalajara.

In an interview with a Tidewater area radio station, Marcus Vick introduced the notion that Quanis Phillips came to the birthday party uninvited, drunk, and high.

The hosts asked Marcus who he thought pulled the trigger on "Q."

"I heard a couple names that went around," Marcus Vick said. "But I'm not familiar with these people, and I heard someone got punched or something like that... Quanis punched somebody... I'm not sure, so many different stories going around."

The surveillance tape of the incident involving 7 and his buddy, Q, at Club Guadalajara...

The lawyer for 7, Larry Woodward, initially said that he left his birthday party 30-minutes before the shots were fired. The surveillance tape has the time stamp a full decimal place off...

Three minutes... not thirty...

No word on whether or not there's a parole violation for either Quanis Phillips or 7 where this is concerned. The QB is still considered a witness and not a suspect.

7 Talks To Virginia Beach Cops

Just when we thought the HQ would never have to monkey around with this stuff ever again...

The current Philadephia Eagles QB went to Virginia Beach PD HQ on Monday. The police consider 7 as a witness and not a suspect in the reported shooting of Quanis Phillips back on Friday night at the same place 7 was holding his 30th birthday party.

You'll remember Phillips as "Q" from the dog fighting trial, testimony, and sentencing. And if it is, in fact, proven that both Vick and Phillips knew each other were at Club Guadalajara and socialized, they could both be brought up on parole violations.
