When Dead is Dead...and there is much rejoicing....

We just had to share this, mostly because it is the single biggest story of the day/week/month/year.

Obviously, we shared, late last night the story of the multiple celebrations at sporting events over the death of Osama bin Laden.

It's kind of interesting seeing people react like they did to someone's death. Though in this case, considering the atrocities he committed on the American people, it was well deserved.

We too stayed up late last night and watched the announcement, though it had been circulating before the "Official Announcement" was actually made.

TLB and I found out first on Facebook. Hmmmm.

Anyway, here is a cover from the Philadelphia Daily News today, the Poynter Institute has a compilation of newspaper covers from all over the U.S this morning.

But, last night, at WWE's Extreme Rules Pay-per-View, the show did end this way...

Okay, so it was close...

The return of....THE ROCK!

We used to be big wrestling fans when we were younger, heck, we grew up in the south watching Dusty Rhodes, Rick Flair and many, many others on the the old TBS World Championship Wrestling shows.

We even were into the WWE for a period of time, enjoying Stone Cold Steve Austin and the guy who perhaps is the most successful wrestler to make the jump to Hollywood of all-time...Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Well, imagine ours, and the millions of WWE Wrestling fans surprise when they began to announce the guest host for their version of the Super Bowl, Wrestlemania....and out pops one of the greatest guys on the mic in the history of wrestling.
