Ozzie Being Ozzie

Those of us at the OSG HQ like Ozzie Guillen's rants and raves. Here's his latest from Monday Nights game against the Cubs.

Ozzie explains.... (Thanks CSN Chicago)

Had Ozzie wore a microphone and we encourage the White Sox TV partners to seriously consider that, it might have sounded like this classic rant by Earl Weaver. By the way don't let the kids see this, lots of foul language.

Ozzie Guillen Loves His Job

((HT: CSNChicago))

In today's version of "Ozzie And A Live Microphone" he talks about how much he loves his job and baseball and everything else that comes to mind...

Here he is...

Although, we almost posted the whole exchange between the, now, 0-8 John Denks and the Toronto Blue Jays Jose Bautista on how Denks thought the home run hitter ran the bases unsatisfactorily and came across as an "f'n clown..."

We'll eave that to the links hyah for Denks and hyah for Bautista...

Enjoy...

The Weekly Ozzie Guillen Rant

((HT: CSNChicago))

Now, he doesn't like his team's offense...

In a game where they scored a boatload of runs and still lost to Toronto in extra innings...

Enjoy... the HQ does...

Bush versus the Foul Ball

((ht: myfoxorlando))

Whenever you sit in the lower section at a baseball game there is a warning posted "Please pay attention to the game, foul balls can enter this area" or something like that.

Apparently, former president and former owner of the Texas Rangers George W. Bush has people that worry about that for him.

Last night in a game against the Chicago White Sox, Rangers 3rd baseman Adrian Beltre hits a high, foul ball right toward W's box. It pretty much headed right toward him, along with White Sox catcher A.J Pierzynski who was trying to catch it.

A.J didn't get to the ball, it was out of play, but in landed in the back of his box. Pierzynski couldn't resist the chance to chat up the former prez.

The video, until pulled, from FoxOrlando:

DEVELOPING: Twins Liriano Throws No-No

((HT: MLB Network/youtube))

The Minnesota Twins Francisco Liriano threw the 2011 season's first no-hitter in a 1-0 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Jason Kubel hit a solo home run for the only run of the game...
here's the ninth inning...

Liriano threw 123 pitches, 66 for strikes. He walked an uncharacteristic six while striking out only two...

Ozzie Gets 2 For Tweeting

((HT: CSNChicago))

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has been suspended and fined after being ejected from Wednesday's game against the Yankees and then tweeting about what went down while the game was still going on.

Guillen's actions were in violation of Major League Baseball's social media policy and other regulations regarding the use of electronic equipment during the course of the game.

He serves his two game suspension when the White Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles over the weekend. The amount of the fine remains undisclosed and unknown.

Ozzie doesn't blame MLB for being mad...

Ozzie And His Tweets, Both Fun But Both May Be In Trouble...

((HT: CSN Chicago))

Ozzie Guillen has never been a man to leave a joke on the table...

He joked about Yankees starter Bartolo Colon and then Colon threw 8 strong innings in a win over the White Sox...

Guillen wouldn't be around to see all of it as he was ejected in the forst inning...

But it doesn't end there...

Ozzie went on his Twitter accout afterwards while he was cooling his heels...

“This one going to cost me a lot money this is patetic.” Guillen’s follow-up came six minutes later, in apparent reference to Tichenor: “Today a tough guy show up a yankee stadium.”

Here's what Ozzie said about all of it...

Sufficed to say, the MLB boys are investigating...

Indians Turn Triple Play, Avoid ChiSox Sweep

((HT: 3Sports/MLB/youtube))

The Indians scored seven runs on the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings and avoided a three-game White Sox sweep by beating Chicago 7-1...

Justin Masterson gave up 7 hits in seven innings pitched and got some help below. It was Cleveland's first triple play since Asdrubal Cabrera's unassisted one against Toronto on May 12, 2008.

Chicago had not hit into a triple play since April 22, 1978 at ((ironically)) Toronto.

Here's three the easy way with Carlos Santana playing first base...

AJ Pierzynski pulled over for speeding while in uniform

AJ Pierzynski
So you are probably saying "What"? Not about the speeding, but why was he wearing the uniform and driving his own car to a baseball spring training game in Goodyear, Arizona.

Yeah, it is true. AJ Pierzynski, catcher and DH for the Chicago White Sox, was pulled over Wednesday afternoon for doing 75 in a 65 zone, while trying to get to today's game versus the Cincinnati Reds.

AJ had gotten permission from manager Ozzie Guillen to get himself to the ballpark. And he did. But not without becoming the butt of jokes. And he didn't deny it when asked.

More from ChicagoBreakingSports.com RIGHT HERE

Oh, Pierzynski by the way, went 0-3 in the game. And based on the fact that it was his manager who ratted him out via his Twitter account, there might be a "Kangaroo Court" fine, but that probably will be it.

So what's today's lesson boys and girls? If you can get a free bus ride to your game, maybe you should consider taking it. That is all....

If you want to know more about AJ Pierzynski, then watch this video, it should tell you everything you need to know:
