Kobe Scores More Inside Staples Than Protestors Outside

((HT: KTLA-TV Los Angeles))

Los Angeles police say several dozen people waving signs and American flags were outside Staples Center before the Lakers-Phoenix Suns game in a protest over Phil Jackson's refusal to criticize Arizona's new anti-immigration law- SB 1070.

Los Angeles police officer Karen Rayner says that no one was arrested.

Jackson released a statement Monday responding to criticism of what he said back on May 4th, saying he has "respect" for those who are opposing the new law. He said he hoped his statement would not be used by either side to rally activists.

The HQ ain't holding their breath on that one...
