Which means the game was OVER and Milwaukee scored 56 effing points...
It was the lowest score against the Celtics since they beat another Milwaukee team ((the-then)) Hawks 62-57 in Providence, Rhode Island on February 27th, 1955. The Bucks, who joined the NBA before the 1968-69 season, set a franchise record for fewest points.
"That's about as humiliating a defeat as you'll ever see," Bucks head coach Scott Skiles said. "They got us on our heels and took our competitive fight away from us. We pretty much just gave into it."

Bango Fully Recovered From ACL Tear

The HQ has fullt documented the trials and tribulations of being a mascot...
Personified by Bango, the Milwaukee Bucks mascot's, injury that sidelined him for a while... take your flashback look here...
He's recovered fully, taking a page out of Jeff Hardy's playbook and going backwards off a 16-foot ladder for a jam in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference quarters as his Bucks were wiping the floor with the Atlanta Hawks...

Developing Story: Bucks Beat Suns, Lose Bogut For Season...

Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut was injured on a hard fall underneath the basket in the second quarter in Saturday night's game against Phoenix.
He suffered a right elbow injury, according to the Bucks Media Relations Department, and was taken to Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee for more tests after being examined by the Bucks' orthopedic physician Michael Gordon.
Bogut was taken away in an ambulance early in the second half. Four people were needed to lift him onto a chair, and he was still dressed in his Bucks uniform as the ambulance drove off.
Bucks head athletic trainer Marc Boff was helping Bogut as he left the arena.
Sunday morning, Charles Gardner of the the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel revealed Bogut is lost to the Bucks for the season with a dislocated right elbow, sprained wrist and broken right hand. He would likely undergo surgery immediately.

It's not pretty...
"It was nasty," said Bucks guard Luke Ridnour. "It popped all the way out. I don't know the extent of his injury but it didn't look real good that's for sure. It was not pretty at all."
"I didn't feel there was any intent or anything there," Bucks head coach Scott Skiles said. "I know when a player goes airborne, they try to take special care that nobody touches him at all, in that type of vulnerable state.
"In looking at it, I felt like Amare was kind of stopped on the play. It was awkward. Bogues was going with so much momentum and got caught up in the air there.
"We were near it and we could see it, we could see the elbow injury."
The Bucks are trying to solidify a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference... their magic number is now two after the win over the Suns.

Jefferson's Feet are Cold
Former New Jersey Net, Milwaukee Buck and current (as of a couple of weeks ago) San Antonio Spur Richard Jefferson has apparently contracted a case of "Cold Feet". Jefferson was all set to marry former Nets Dancer Kesha Ni'cole Nichols in a $2 million dollar plus ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City. Sometime before the ceremony (apparently pretty close to it since guests had arrived), Jefferson bailed...approximetley 2 hours before it was supposed to start according to reports.The story from WPIX-TV here .

The only thing we can really add is that this is one of those things that baffle the mind. Maybe if you are mega-rich (or an athlete) you can do stuff like this...you just kind of wonder what Ms. Nichols thinks about it all

Bucks Reported To Have Traded Richard Jefferson To Spurs
According to the Associated Press, the Milwaukee Bucks plan to send Richard Jefferson to the San Antonio Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto, that from a Bucks official with knowledge of the deal that spilled the beans to the AP.

More Injuries For Milwaukee Bucks - Mascot "Bango" Tears ACL

The Milwaukee Bucks have been decimated by injuries this season. Andrew Boget and Luke Ridhour have been out of action and their best player, Michael Redd, is on the shelf for the rest of the season thanks to an ACL tear. Now you can add Bango, the Bucks mascot to the injury list.Bango tore his ACL at the NBA All Star weekend in Phoenix.
Here's the video evidence and look closely, when Bango falls through the hoop and lands is where the knee gives.
You knew it wouldn't end well for Bango after Rufus, the Charlotte Bobcat, nails him in the groin with his backwards shot. Stupid kitty. Then Bango gets banged up falling through the net.
Here's a statement from the Milwaukee Bucks:
While gazelle-like dunks and agile maneuvers around the court will be impossible for a time, the heart of Bucks game-night entertainment and the emotional leader of Bucks fans of all ages will continue to lead fan enthusiasm at home games. He will miss few – if any – home games, and the Energee! Dance team, Hoop Troop, Rim Rockers, Air Bango, Super Force, and newly formed Bucks Wild! percussion drumline will continue to fill the court in support of Bango.
“All of the entertainment elements and their performers have bought into our new initiative: Care Bango,” Director of Game and Event Presentation Mike Schnieders said. “They all care about Bango and will assist him in his recovery and continued contribution to Bucks games throughout the rest of the season. We’ll be adding some Care Bango enhancements and announcing the initiatives in the coming days. In the meantime, we look forward to Bango’s speedy recovery.”

See Joe Dunk
Strange...
Apparently some NBA players have taken a page from last years Chris Bosh video in which he tried to get himself picked for the All-Star Game. Milwaukee Bucks Forward Joe Alexander has found his own niche' with this. He, I think enlisted the help of the Bucks video department and a couple players from the team. Take a look:

I have to admit, it was kind of funny in a dry way. Alexander, a rookie forward from West Virginia hasn't really done a lot to distinguish himself in his first NBA season, though this might help a bit.
Check this video out, also very funny. I particularly like the mascots reaction.

The Day The Streak Stopped For The L.A. Lakers
On this date, January 10th, 1972, the longest winning streak in professional sports came to an end in Milwaukee. The 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers were a hell of a team. The Lakers had won 33 straight games heading into their early January showdown with, a that time, the defending NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks featured perhaps the best point guard NBA history, Oscar Robertson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the paint.
The Lakers had Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, need I say more.
It turned out to be Milwaukee's day in there old barn, the Milwaukee Arena, as the Bucks whipped the Lakers 120-104 ending L.A.'s streak of 33 straight wins.
Here are the highlights from that historic game with Keith Jackson and Bill Russell on the call.
You have to love watching Kareem in his youth. The guy was just dominant. You don't see centers as well rounded in today's NBA as Kareem was in his day.
