Usually, you can say that 100 is a score the HQ can put up in an alley anytime it's requested...

But at the PBA Tour's Tournament of Champions, Mika Koivuniemi was one strike away from a 300 game on television in the national semi-final. Good enough for a $10,000 bonus. It would have been only the 21st time a 300 was bowled on TV, and the 5th in a major tourney...

If you don't want to watch Koivuniemi's first 11 strikes, go forward to the 20:20 mark and watch the end of the 10th...


But the other end of the semi was Tom Daugherty... the wheels completely came off for Daugherty and he almost didn't hit triple digits...
The quest for 100 concludes at the 18:20 mark...

12-Year-Old Youngest To Cash In On PBA Tour

12-year-old Kamron Doyle of Brentwood, Tennessee, finished 30th in the PBA's Canton (Ga.) Open Regional tournament this past weekend, netting him $400 that will be deposited into a scholarship account.

Bowling as a non-PBA member, he had a 2,797 13-game pinfall total for a 215.1 average. The sixth-grader was competing against a 94-player field that included some of the top regional and national tour professional players.

He was already the youngest bowler to roll a US Bowling Congress-certified 800 series. He became interested in the sport when he was 7.

"After that he was hooked," his mother, Cathy, said- according to PBA.com. "Before we knew it he was bowling three days a week and at this point I think he's got about 60 bowling balls."

Kamron wants to go to either Wichita or Weber State for college, and then bowl on the pro tour...

Kelly Kulick bowls better than the Dudes...

Yes, you heard me right. Kelly Kulick became the first woman to win a PBA Bowling Tournament Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas. She won the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tournament of Champions by defeating Chris Barnes in the final...265-195.

Kulick gained entry to the tournament by winning the PBA Women's World Championship, the first PBA Major for women. She was the first woman to earn a tour exemption in 2006 and has been nothing short of successful at every level in which she has competed.
