TWTW: USC's Ess-E-See Tickets Already Sold Out

((HT: WIS-TV Columbia))

Good news if you're a fan of the team that plays over at the Fairgrounds in Columbia...

If you're looking for tickets to the Ess-E-Cee title game, you're going to have to get them by another means...

Hey, at least the South Carolina folks have that to look forward to instead of the OBC's old squad...

Jack Kuenzie is standing outside, presumably cold and/or wet...

TWTW: Alabama Not Concerned With The "Chosen One," Take SEC Title 32-13

((HT: WBRC-TV/MyFoxAl.com))

Those of us at OSG HQ still have Mark Ingram not winning the posing trophy for college football greatness... his three scores may help his case from this game...

But the victory against Florida in the SEC Championship Game should help him with some more southern voters in yet another fractured voting season.

Number 2 Alabama clocked top-ranked Florida 32-13 at the Georgia Dome, and are now preparing for their first shot at a national title since 1992.

They'll be playing Texas in Pasadena- barely...

Here's the return of the Tide to Tuscaloosa (or some airport nearby that has a long enough runway to land the team charters), thanks to our friends at Fox6...

It's raw video. That's a TV term that means you're watching video that was just put there to be there in its entirety- no editing was involved at all...

Carlos Dunlap picked a bad week to get a DUI

University of Florida Star Defensive End Carlos Dunlap is in deep trouble. It seems as though Mr. Dunlap was arrested very early this morning after being found slumped over the wheel of his car. He apparently had been weaving in and out of traffic shortly before being found and after being found, declined to take a breath test after he failed several field sobriety tests.

Needless to say, the timing of this incident is probably not-so good with the #1 ranked Gators preparing to play #2 Alabama in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta on Saturday.

The University has yet to comment on the incident though they expect to address it later today after practice in Gainesville. It will be "Very" interesting to see what they have to say and how they will handle the discipline for it. Being without your star defensive end and facing a potential "Game of the Century" poses an interesting quandry for the Gators and Coach Urban Meyer.

We will obviously have more on this story sometime later today.

Here are some of Mr. Dunlap's brighter moments from the Florida/FSU game last week. Thanks You Tube:

SEC Title Game Stays In ATL Through 2015

From the SEC their own selves...

The Southeastern Conference championship game will remain at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta at least through 2015.

SEC Commissioner Mike Slive said Monday the league has agreed on a five-year extension to keep the game at the Dome.

The game has sold out every year except for 1995, the year after its move to the dome.

Last year's matchup between Alabama and Florida drew nearly 76,000 fans, the most to attend a sporting event in the Georgia Dome.

The 2009 championship game will be Dec. 5.
