Sean Sutton Pleads Guilty
((HT: Newsok.com-Helsley))
Former Oklahoma State University head basketball coach Sean Sutton says he is pleading guilty to felony charges accusing him of "obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a prescription, attempted possession of controlled dangerous substances and use of a communications device to facilitate a felony."
Sutton was charged with four felonies after being arrested in February. He was accused of picking up a shipment of painkillers under another person's name.
He spent 115 days in a rehabilitation program in Utah, Cirque Lodge, and he admits that he will continue to keep in touch with his support group. Sutton also says he hopes to return to coaching but it is not his top priority.

• Unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, oxycodone, without a prescription for having an oxycodone pill in his car when he was pulled over Thursday.

Here's the list of official charges, thanks again to newsok.com
The former OSU men's hoops coach was not present in court. His attorney, Trace Morgan, entered the plea on Sutton's behalf. Morgan told a judge that Sutton is at a treatment facility in Tulsa.
A preliminary hearing was set for April 5 in Payne County District Court.
According to documents filed this morning, the charges are from Sutton's attempt last week to pick up pharmaceutical drugs mailed to him by a woman he met in rehab last year. Sutton has told state drug enforcement agents that he is battling an addiction to painkillers.
He also told agents he was using the pharmaceutical drugs he attempted to pick up Thursday to help him cease illegal drug use, according to court records.
Sutton remains free on bail and is expected to be arraigned on the charges this afternoon. It is not known whether Sutton will appear in court.

Sean Sutton Arrested On Drug Charges
((HT: Newsok.com))
Former Oklahoma State head basketball coach Sean Sutton told drug agents that he is addicted to painkillers, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics spokesman Mark Woodward said.
OBN detained Sutton Thursday afternoon after the former coach picked up a shipment of painkillers from out of state from a local shipping company, Woodward said.
Drug agents had intercepted the shipment following a tip that Sutton had been illegally buying painkillers from sellers in Seattle and the New York City borough of Brooklyn.
Payne County ((OK)) District Attorney Robert Hudson said he is going to file four felony counts against Sutton for the drugs he attempted to obtain and for using his cell phone to commit a felony.
Sutton remains in the Stillwater city jail, where he has become ill, Hudson said.
"He's having withdrawals," Hudson said.
Sutton is expected to post $10,000 bond today and then enter a treatment facility where he'll remain until he is arraigned, Hudson said. Sutton's arraignment is expected to be Tuesday.
