Lawson made his first 10 3-pointers on his way to a career-high as Denver beat Minnesota 130-106.
As a result... he is the first player in NBA history to make each of his first 10 3-point attempts to start a game, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. He became the 10th player in the last 25 years to make 10 threes in a game. The last player to do it was teammate J.R. Smith, who did it twice.

League sources are telling ESPN's Chris Broussard that none of the teams involved- the Knicks, Minnesota, and Denver- can say anything until tomorrow.
Here's the break-down according to Broussard...
Denver gets Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, the Knicks' 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors' 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors' 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash while Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman will head to New York, according to the Denver Post.
New York will send Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry to Minnesota as part of the deal.
"I'm glad its over," Nuggets coach George Karl said, according to the Denver Post. "I'm glad it's an opportunity to reinvent. I think everybody handled it as classy as you could handle it. There's some sadness to it, there always will be."
The New Jersey Nets and Denver Nuggets were always this/close to a deal that was supposed to ship six players and at least two first-round draft picks to Denver that would send Anthony to the Nets along with Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton.
But, according to new Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, it's all over...
"...But there comes a time when the prize is simply too expensive. I am instructing our team to walk away from the deal, and the meeting that was supposed to be held by our management in Denver with Carmelo is hereby canceled."

Yeah, it sounds like it's getting close to happening. Today's NBA, a league where you can be a great player in a small market, complain, and then end up in a big city. The new poster child for this appears as though it will be Carmelo Anthony.
The Bergen Record, and now several other outlets are reporting that Denver, New Jersey and the Detroit Pistons are about to pull off a trade that could involve up to 14 or 15 players and a couple of draft picks.
Yeah, you heard correctly. 14 or 15 players. According to the Record, the Nets would be giving up 6 players and 2 draft picks to get Anthony, who while a very good player, won't be able to play by himself.

Here's the best breakdown we can ascertain from this: The Nuggets, get a couple of good, young players...Devin Harris and Derrick Favors and with this can basically start rebuilding. The Nets, would get Chauncey Billups...if he agrees, along with Anthony. They would team with Brook Lopez and Richard Hamilton who would come from Detroit. The Nets become an instant playoff team.
Of course, this hinges on two things: Anthony being willing to sign an expensive contract extension and Billups being willing to come with him.
As for Detroit. They get two expiring contracts to clear space for the pending sale of the team. Getting rid of Hamilton cleans out a whole lot more. They pretty much are resigning themselves to the draft lottery.
There is also speculation that getting Anthony in New Jersey, which will soon be playing in Brooklyn, NY, would help the Nets draw good buddy Chris Paul from New Orleans sometime in the next two seasons and create another "Alleged" SuperTeam for new Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov.
We will continue monitoring this and have the full details if or when it happens.

From the outside looking in, this is pretty funny. Apparently a former Denver Nuggets ball boy initiated an April Fools day joke on Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin and...well...it didn't go so well.
The short version is this: the former ball boy went into the Denver locker room and got Martin's car keys. He then proceeded to go out to Martin's Range Rover and fill it up with buttered popcorn. Martin...well, once he found it was not very amused.

We get that Martin was less than happy someone went in the locker room and went into his clothes to get the keys. And we sort of get the fact that the white interior wasn't so white after the buttered popcorn. But, we also think that the ball boy had some huge cojones to pull it off. We also think that Martin has more than enough bank to get the interior cleaned, though the ball boy is paying for the cleaning himself.
The Nuggets are in need of something to lighten the mood, though we suspect this wasn't that something. They are struggling without their coach, George Karl who is still finishing a round of chemotherapy for his throat cancer. They have lost 5 of their last 7 games
