Thomas DeMarco rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns, and threw for another one, to lead Old Dominion to a 42-28 victory over North Carolina Central on Saturday.

ODU is now 8-2...

The University of South Alabama heads into their last game of the year after a 64-12 win over something called Milford Academy.

USA racked up 375 yards on the ground while holding Milford to just 35.

Their last game is Thursday as Huntington travels down from Montgomery...

And, no, John Thompson couldn't save the Hoyas, either...

ODU quarterback Thomas DeMarco runs for three touchdowns and throws for another leading ODU past Georgetown 31-10. It was the Monarchs 4th win in a row and now they have won 7 games in the 2009 season.

We're tracking Old Dominion's first year of college football in 60 years...
They're not doing too badly...

The Savannah State Tigers were out to snap their 5-game losing streak against an Old Dominion team that was in its first year of football.

But, it didn't happen at the Monarchs ran away to a 38-17 victory.

The Monarchs came out scoring on their first possession and taking a 17-0 lead at the half.

Thomas DeMarco completed 14 of 20 passes for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Savannah State falls to 1-6 for the season.

Thomas DeMarco passed for three touchdowns to lead Old Dominion to a 28-17 victory over Campbell on Saturday night.

DeMarco was 8-for-14 for 145 yards for the Monarchs (5-2). His first scoring pass was 42 yards to Reid Evans, then he had scoring strikes of 14 and 41 yards to Nick Mayers. DeMarco also had 12 carries for 38 yards

Old Dominion freshman Desmond Williams added a career-high 145 yards on 29 carries with one touchdown, a 1-yard run capping a 16-play, 94-yard drive with 3:51 left.

Campbell (1-5), which lost its fifth straight game, led 10-7 at halftime.

So much for that lead, eh J-Dub...???

TWTW: ODU Suffers First Loss In 69 Years

David Sinisi rushed for 216 yards and two touchdowns and completed a scoring pass on his only throw to help Monmouth (N.J.) hold off Old Dominion 31-28 Saturday night.

Sinisi had a career-high 41 carries for the Hawks (2-2), but did not reach his career high of 247 yards set last year against St. Francis (Pa.).

After Old Dominion (3-1) took a 14-0 lead in the first 2:53, Sinisi tied the score with touchdown runs of 8 yards and 1 yard in the first half.

With Monmouth trailing 21-17 in the third quarter, Sinisi threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Bobby Giles to give the Hawks the lead for good.

Thomas DeMarco was 16-for-35 for 215 yards for Old Dominion. After a 55-yard touchdown pass to Nick Mayers, Monmouth fumbled the kickoff and DeMarco connected with Carlos Davis for a 7-yard score.

DeMarco also had 42 yards rushing and a 9-yard touchdown.
