((HT: MyFoxDFW))Cristal Taylor, former fiancée of Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki ((both picture,d thanks KDFW-TV)), was sentenced to prison on Monday, according to a report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch .
Taylor received five years in prison for violating probation in a 12-year-old forgery and theft case, the paper reported.
The 38-year-old St. Louis-area native admitted that she failed to check in with her probation officer and that she was arrested twice in Texas in 2000 for misdemeanors, it reported.
Taylor had planned to marry Nowitzki and has said she is pregnant with his child.
Nowitzki has said he would file for custody if DNA tests prove the baby is his.
Taylor was arrested at his home on May 6 and was accused of failing to pay for expensive cosmetic dental work in Texas in 2006.
