Tiger Speaks... Sort Of...

Tom Rinaldi stood up with Tiger Woods for an interview where the world's greatest golfer said some things, but didn't say other things...

Which, really, was to be expected...

What...???
You really thought he was going to come public on all that stuff...???

C'mon now...

Here's half of the interview where Tiger kinda opens up a little bit...

The transcript of the whole thing is here...

Tiger Taking Indefinite Leave From Golf

In a surprising statement on his website, Tiger Woods is taking an indefinite leave from the sport of golf...

"I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children," Woods said. "I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try."

So, now we have an admission on that word...
Finally...

Does he move to Sweden...??? Who knows...
Interesting idea to try and put his marriage back together

"His priorities are where they need to be, and we will continue to respect and honor his family's request for privacy," PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem said in a statement.

Mike Hill caught up with Mike Tirico on an airplane...before taxiing down the runway.

When does he come back...??? Once again, who knows...

Those of us at OSG HQ agree that the sport is better with him as a catalyst...
But it's also better when the man puts his life in order...

Jason Sobel talks about it more here...

Tiger Woods 911 Call Released

((HT: ESPN))

For the third day in a row, Tiger Woods did not answer questions from the Florida Highway Patrol regarding his Friday night crash inside the Isleworth Community.

Honestly, he doesn't have to... all he needs to do in the interim is provide, license, registration, and proof of insurance... which he did... Woods now is being represented by high-falootin' Orlando lawyer Mark NeJame.

NeJame is called the "Johnnie Cochran of Central Florida..."
Well, then...

Right now, there are still a lot more questions than there are answers to this whole thing. A lot of the details don't add up...

What was he doing at that hour...??? And, no, the play-by-play given to date by the Windermere Police doesn't help...

And if it was so innocent, and Tiger's fault- as he says by his own admission, then why don't we all know what really went down...???

There's a whiff of shenanigans in the air, but we're not going to go there yet...

Matt Winer and Tom Rinaldi have your Sunday update...

Here is the 911 call in its entirety, thanks to the Orlando Sentinel...
