Judicial diversion...
In English, if he keeps his nose clean for two years he won't have to serve any jail time for this act of anti-Mensadom. Edwards pleaded guilty to a charge of felony reckless endangerment...
He chalks it up to "wrong place, wrong time..."
But when you look at the surveillance tape, there's some forethought here...
All that means that Edwards is saying what he needs to right now to stay out of the hoosegow... and we get that...

Edwards is looking at either Division I-AA or Division II for his next move. He has to staying school during that time as well to satisfy the judicial diversion charge...

Monday SEC-ACC Tackle Football Update
Former Vols athlete Nu'Keese Richardson entered a guilty plea in Knox County Criminal Court on Monday.
The plea came before a grand jury could consider the charge.
As a result, Richardson avoids jail time and gets judicial diversion.
Whatever that means...
Florida defensive end Carlos Dunlap and center Maurkice Pouncey are leaving school early and entering the NFL draft joining cornerback Joe Haden and tight end Aaron Hernandez who would like to get paid to play from now on.
Guard Mike Pouncey, however, says he is returning for his senior season.
Over at Georgia Tech, three juniors are out the door. Jonathan Dwyer, Morgan Burnett, and Derrick Morgan are all gone leaving a big restructuring job for head coach Paul Johnson. They join WR Demarious "Be-Be" Thomas in the pay world.

Alabama All-American linebacker Rolando McClain has declared as well.
McClain said he would skip his senior season to turn pro.
He's a projected first-rounder after leading the team with 105 tackles and 14.5 stops for loss, two interceptions, and four sacks to go along with that national title thing.

Janzen Jackson Charges Dropped, Nu'Keese Dropping Out

Nu'Keese Richardson will not be enrolled at the University of Tennessee next semester.
WVLT-TV in Knoxville knows someone who spoke with the receiver himself, and Nu'Keese said he would not be returning next semester and that he'll head back to his home state of Florida.
Those of us at OSG HQ think he's headed to the University of North Alabama for his next round of football, but that's just us...
In other news, the driver of the car that was used in the Edwards-Richardson-Jackson armed robbery attempt, and Jackson himself, have had their charges dropped.
The news release from the Knox County DA's office says: "The investigation and review of all relevant evidence failed to show (that) Ms. Montmarquet and Mr. Jackson had prior knowledge that the attempted robber was going to take place and were unaware something had occurred until after they pulled out of the Pilot Store (on Cumberland Ave.)"
Marie Lynn Montmarquet's drug possession and paraphernalia charges will remain and be prosecuted by the DA's office.
