The NCAA ruled today that Alabama Football Players Julio Jones and Mark Ingram are still eligible to play football this season. The players, got into a bit of trouble when reports surfaced about the two of them accepting a free fishing trip courtesy of a 56 year old businessman from Athens, Alabama.

Apparently, the players can make things right by paying back the man from Athens. The whole thing seemed a bit weird, but hey, what do we know? The Crimson Tide open there season Saturday night in Atlanta versus the Virginia Tech Hokies.
