((HT: PBR-TV))

Okay, the short version...
Chad lasted a second-and-a-half of the required eight seconds...

The HQ joked that, if he had in fact survived, he would have renamed the bull "Ocho Segundos..." or something like that...

Here's the full run...look quick...

Chad And The Bull

((HT: PBR/PBR-TV))

Tonight in suburban Atlanta, Chad Johnson/Ocho-Cinco gets to ride a bull (a real one) at the PBR Tour event at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

Admitting that this act of riding a bull is part of a bucket list, if he survives he gets a new Ford truck and the opportunity to re-name the bull...

Here's your preview with Chad and his respect for the guys that do this for a living.

The HQ would like to elaborate that this act is NOT part of any bucket list whatsoever... and we hope he doesn't get trampled...

Ochocinco to ride bull: Publicity Stunt?

Chad Ochocinco/Courtesy: nflnewsworld.com
Yeah, we've got to admit, the guy may be the best self-promoting athlete out there. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is apparently going bull-riding this weekend.

The mercurial, talkative receiver, like many of his football brethren are looking for things to do while the NFL Lockout stupidity continues. So Chad is trying his hand at other things. He recently completed a tryout and game with the professional soccer team in Kansas City.

Now it's Professional Bull Riding. Chad's challenge...to ride a bull this weekend in Duluth, Georgia (Atlanta suburb). If he does it, he gets $10,000. If he stays on it for 8-seconds; he gets a new Ford truck and the rights to name the bull.

This is so completely publicity laden for both sides its kinda gross. Chad being Chad, it doesn't surprise me he's taken the challenge, it's the Bull Riders coming up with this that is a bit of a surprise. We'll see if this gets more people into the builiding, because ultimately, that's what it's about...isn't it?

And here's a look at what Mr. Ochocinco is getting himself into:
