"I'm a believer that, as long people go through the right process, they deserve a second chance. Michael has done that," Reid said.
It’s a bit shocking that the Eagles would sign Michael Vick because their offense looks to be set, especially at quarterback where Donovan McNabb is clearly #1 on the Eagles depth chart.
Quarterback controversy? Not according to McNabb.
"There is no threat to me," McNabb told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "There is no threat to [backup Kevin] Kolb. It is an opportunity for us to add another weapon to our offense and our team. Think about the potential of what could happen, because I'm going to tell you right now, if he gets back to where he played in Atlanta and . . . he gets out of the pocket and picks up 20 or 30 yards, nobody will be thinking about what happened two years ago. Everybody will be talking about what we can do in order for this team to win the Super Bowl."
Would you be surprised with Vick on the team Philly will be running the “Wildcat” offense?
According to Foxsports.com, Vic will receive $1.6 million this year with an option for 2010 that could net him $5.6 million. According to the team none of the money is guaranteed.
