According to the Four Letter and reporter Chris Mortensen, quarterback Michael Vick has signed a one-year deal (with an option for a second year) with the Philadelphia Eagles. His agent, Joel Segal, confirmed the signing to the sports network.
VickWatch 2009 is over, with reported sightings of the embattled QB all over the country. He's signing with Dallas. He's signing with Buffalo. He's signing with Carolina. Well, Vick arrived in Philly yesterday morning, and signed just moments ago. The Eagles will reportedly hold a news conference sometime on Thursday to introduce Vick.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell conditionally lifted the former #1 draft pick's suspension last week, allowing him to sign with a team.
The Eagles travel to meet Vick's former team, the Atlanta Falcons, in Week 13 on Dec. 6. Vick will not be allowed to play until Week 5 at the earliest.
Yes I know that's a throwback Jaws jersey. Shut up.
More later.
