All gone...
First, Roger Federer loses to 12-seed Tomas Berdych in four sets...
6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4...
Until Wednesday, Federer was 51-1 at the tournament since the start of the 2003 edition. Since winning his 2010 title at the Australian in January, Federer has been to the semifinals at only three of eight tournaments.
Then the top-ranked Williams sisters lose in doubles They were looking for a fifth consecutive Grand Slam title in doubles, but were beaten 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 by Russians Elena Vesnina and Vera Zvonareva.
The Williamses climbed to No. 1 in doubles for the first time after winning the French Open. They were bidding for their 13th major...
And THEN, the Bryan brothers lose in men's doubles. Bob and Mike Bryan were upset in the Wimbledon quarters by 39-year-old Dick Norman of Belgium and Wesley Moodie of South Africa 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (3-7), and 7-5.
The Bryans were chasing their ninth Grand Slam title.
They were the runners-up at Wimbledon last year.
What is this world coming to on grass...???
Here's the last game of the Federer match...

Venus Loses, Slams Another Opponent...
((HT: Brooks))
Okay, so you lose to an opponent in a tourney... and, while you're leaving, you smack someone else in the process...
Venus Williams loses to Jelena Jankovic, but during the tiebreaker there were some time-in time-out shenanigans involving them both...
Serves when one wanted time out and it counted... serves when one wanted time out and didn't get it... and Jankovic still won...
And then the microphones picked up this exchange...
((HT: Tennis Channel/WTA))
We go back to 2003 while leading Justin Henin in a French Open semifinal, Henin asked for a play stoppage by holding up her hand during Serena’s first serve.
((HT: ESPN/WTA))
Aren't flashbacks wonderful...???

More Famous People to Co-Own Dolphins
How many more "Minority Owners" does Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross need? He's already announced that Gloria Estefan has bought a small chunk of the team and now the latest to come on board: The Williams sisters. Yes, that's right, Venus and Serena.
Check out the story from Miami Herald.com here.

Oh...by the way, the Dolphins are "Partners" with Jimmy Buffet too. Why else would the stadium now be called "Landshark" stadium?
Ross, who has gone on record saying "I don't need the money" says that this is to "Make the team more a part of the community". Ok, explain to me how inviting people who wouldn't be caught dead sitting in the stands (they'd be in a luxury box), helps "Connect the team with the Community"? Famous people are great at lending there names to...well...pretty much anything, but they don't necessarily show up to support the place or thing. It will be interesting to see if the Williams sisters along with the Estefan's actually show up at a game.
Enjoy this little ditty, recorded originally in 1973 (I can vouch for it, I grew up down there and actually have this song on an old 45). Video Courtesy: The You Tube
