You Get A Line, I'll Get A Pole, We'll Do Some Fantasy Fishing

You need another sign the sports world is way off its axis, how about fantasy fishing. I'm not making this up. FLW Outdoors, which runs the Walmart FLW Tour, is running a free fantasy fishing game.

Don't laugh to loud because the money is real good. The player with the most points at the end of each Walmart FLW Tour competition wins $100,000. That's got my attention. There's more, whoever earns the most points over all six tournaments wins $1 million. Damn, get out you fake Zebco's and cast an imaginary line and haul in a beauty. By the way, that million dollar pay out is a record in fantasy sports.

FLW is also giving away boats, trucks and gift cards as part of the game.

If you are one hell of a fantasy fisherman, you could be set for life. $10 million will be distributed to its top fantasy performers.

Our heads are spinning here at the OSG HQ but were are seriously thinking about taking up fantasy fishing because hell, we need the money. At least the FLW hasn't been washed out by the state of the U.S. economy.
