Phoenix Coyotes majority owner Jerry Moyes pumped out a statement today confirming what TSN's Darren Dreger relayed last night...
Someone is interested in making a play for the 'Dogs after all...
To wit...
“Wayne Gretzky and I have had discussions with potential investors interested in joining us in continuing the team’s presence in Glendale," Moyes said. "I have met with Glendale city management, who expressed strong support for the team, and whose assistance would contribute to helping the Coyotes operate on a positive cash flow basis.”
Moyes says he's not saying anything else on the matter until the current courting is sorted out.
