Wow, this is a bit of a surprise but it explains a few things. Rolando McClain, linebacker from the University of Alabama and potential 1st round NFL Draft pick this year revealed that he is currently suffering from "Crohn's disease" and that he has been dealing with it since he was in High School.
The disease which affects the gastrointestinal area is not curable but is also something that will not keep McClain from fulfilling his dream of playing in the NFL either. Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback David Garrard has the same illness and it has not slowed him down either.

When acting up, the disease has had an effect on McClain, making him suffer from what is termed "Flu-like symptoms", it certainly didn't change the fact that he was one of the best linebackers in the country over the past couple of years. It also, according to experts, should not keep him from being a first round pick in April's upcoming draft.
