Steelers Win A Ring For The Other Hand

Let's go ahead and say it. Since the Super Bowl era began in the NFL in 1970, the Pittsburgh Steelers have become the model franchise in the league. The Steelers have 6 Lombardi trophies in their possession, the most in the Super Bowl era.

Pittsburgh does it with basic football, running over and by you on offense and tough, hard nosed defense though the passing game got them Super Bowl title #6.

Consistency helps to. The Steelers have only had 3 head coaches since 1969: Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and now Mike Tomlin. Can you name the head coach in 1968?

Here is coverage from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. More from the Post - Gazette right here. A story on Ben Roethlisberger's game winning drive is right here. And let's not forget the latest Pittsburgh receiving legend, Santonio Holmes. You can read more about Holmes super night here.

Here's some highlights for you Steeler fans, first James Harrison's 100 yard interception return for a touchdown right before halftime is below.

And next, Santonio Holmes Lynn Swann-esque touchdown catch to win Super Bowl title #6 for the Steelers.
