After Larry Fitzgerald scored on a 64 yard touchdown pass to give the Arizona Cardinals the lead late in the 4th quarter, viewers watching the game on KVOA-TV witnessed about 10 seconds of pornographic materiel. No comment if that was the hardest hitting of the night.
KVOA viewers didn't get the replay of the big play, instead they saw full frontal male nudity from Club Jenna, an adult cable channel.
Here's a description of what was seen from the Arizona Daily Stars' Message Board:
It was pretty bad. A Keith Urban-type guy is sitting down, and there's a woman next to him and she appears to have her hands down his pants. Then he gets up, and his pants drop, and there's a full reveal. It happened right after the Cards' last touchdown, so I wonder if there was a hacker/steelers fan on the loose at Comcast. — Gin R. Later, the Cardinal defense dropped their pants covering Santonio Holmes and lost the Super Bowl.
In a statement, the station said that the "only viewers who were able to see the material were those who receive the channel through Comcast." KVOA said that it will investigate the incident.
"When the NBC feed of the Super Bowl was transmitted from KVOA to local cable providers and through over-the-air antennas, there was no pornographic material," KVOA president and general manager Gary Nielsen said in a statement.
The statement went on to say that the station was dismayed and disappointed that some Comcast customers and their families were subjected to the material.
Joel Hilander of Tucson told The Associated Press that he and his young children saw the clip.
"I couldn't believe it. And I couldn't believe that my children were watching it either," Hilander said.

Here's what all the hub-bub is about in Tucson. Enjoy.
