No not Blake Griffin, I'm talking about his older brother Taylor Griffin, who was the #1 pick of the Harlem Globetrotters.
The pick is usually ceremonial so Taylor Griffin isn't obligated to play for the Globetrotters but at least he can say to his little brother that he was also the top pick of a draft, it's just the contract won't be as rich.
No word on who the Washington Generals selected in the first round.
