In a couple of weeks the Canadians are planning to announce a game to be played at Olympic Stadium in late November.
The team is calling it an "indoor/outdoor" game at the Big "O" since their is a roof covering the facility so I guess it's not technically going to interfere with the "Outdoor Classic" model the National Hockey League has created and carefully protects.
Calgary was denied a "Winter Classic" game at McMahon Stadium as part of a double-header after the Boston Bruins game with the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park on January 1st, 2010. The league is going out of it's way to keep the outdoor games unique.
