Forget Joe D... How 'Bout 103...???

((HT: KVAL-TV/Krupke))

Forget about the drizzle, it was nothing but sunshine for the Marist Spartans Saturday morning in Corvallis. Behind a complete game no-hitter by Sophomore Nyree White, a crucial 7th inning bunt for Dani Kast and a two base throwing error by the Hornets, the Spartans became back-to-back 4A state softball champions with a 2-1 thriller over Henley.

In the win, Kayla Braud extended her consecutive game hitting streak to 103 - the longest in the nation.

Here's the highlights- and the proof- from Nick Krupke and our friends at KVAL-TV in Eugene...
