***We have breaking NEWS here at OSG HQ***It appears as though bazillionaire Jim Ballsillie's attempt at buying the Phoenix Coyotes and moving the to Hamilton in Canada has come to an end. A Bankruptcy judge in Phoenix has ruled that there was not enough time to resolve all the underlying financial responsibilities before closing on the sale June 29th.

Speculation from OSG Sources in Phoenix is that this will clear the way for Jerry Reinsdorf and his group to swoop in and rescue the Coyotes. There is also a lot of speculation that a group of investors would like to purchase the team and move them to Las Vegas. Though that scenario is a little less painful to the NHL, the league is obviously a little concerned about going that route.
