FSU has 12 more losses now...

Well, they didn't beat the NCAA. Florida State University announced today that they are vacating 12 wins in football and a Men's Track and Field National Championship along with some women's basketball and baseball wins because of the academic misconduct charges brought upon them by the NCAA.

They had tried to appeal the football games, but had lost the appeal last month, though the NCAA allowed them to pick the games they wanted to forfeit. Is it me or does that just sound odd? Anyway, among the games lost now are an Emerald Bowl Championship in Football an ACC Tournament game in Basketball and an NCAA Baseball Tournament game.

Early in this process, the school had been claiming they did nothing wrong and would fight to the bitter end. This, pretty much puts that argument to rest. We don't exactly know how this adjusts now former Head Coach Bobby Bowden's won-loss record. However, since he has now retired, he's not going to catch Joe Paterno anyway.

Here is the "Emerald Bowl in question" (Not great quality)//Thanks You Tube:
