They Climbed the Mountain

Interesting story out of Seattle today. Seahawks Head Coach Jim Mora (Junior.....junior) and NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell made it to the summit of Mount Rainer and back all in the name of Charity.

The story from the Seattle Times here

The climb, which was to raise money for the Seattle area United Way had been planned for over a month. Mora and Goodell are now among the 9,000 or so estimated to succesfully scale the Mountain each year.

We like this story and though we don't know Mr. Goodell very well, we do know Coach Mora (Junior) from his stay not far from OSG HQ a few years ago. An odd dude, but with a good heart and this seems like a good way to raise a little money ($380,000) for a very worthy cause.

Here's KING5 Sports Director Paul Silvi catching up with JL Mora before the climb to the summit last night....
And, yes, they're actually on the mountain...
