Well, you can scratch 2 names off of the NHL free agency ledger. To the surprise of few, the Vancouver Canucks have come to terms with the Sedin brothers on a new 5 year contract at a nice price...$6.1 million a year.The details from TSN here .
Already, despite poor economic conditions the NHL has been busy. From the Penguins re-signing Bill Guerin to the Rangers trading Scott Gomez...we are only a couple of days in and the money and contracts are flying. Stay tuned...because there is undoubtedly more to come.
