CFB Hall of Fame to Atlanta

It appears as though South Bend, Indiana is about to lose something more than just Charlie Weis. According to reports, the College Football Hall of Fame, currently located in South Bend is about to be relocated to the city of Atlanta.

Here is a "Tip" from Jim Galloway of AJC.com HERE.

We also have a link to a site with a proposed location in downtown Atlanta HERE .

And even more, this time from the Atlanta Business Chronicle HERE .

This is not a totally unexpected development. We have known that Gary Stokan and the Atlanta Sports Council have been pursuing this for some time (a couple of years). Considering what they have been able to do with both the Kick-Off Classic and the Chick-Fil a Bowl, they have a rather impressive track record. Combine that with the Chick-Fil A folks who have been a major backer of College Football along with Home Depot and Coke all of whom are based in Atlanta, a city with a major transportation hub and just a general good location in the heart of College Football country...it makes sense that this has all gone down.
