The HQ remembers Tony Tubbs as a boxer in our growing-up days...
Now at 51, he's a cocaine addict and had a choice in a Cincinnati court...
Rehab or jail for six months as a result of a November possession charge... all the judge needed was an admission by Tubbs that he was an addict that needed help.
He chose the latter- even as his mother was pleading with Judge Melba Marsh to change her mind in offering Tubbs a choice.

He's been to prison twice before for cocaine possession and not paying child support for some of his 16 children.
Sad...
