According to multiple published reports, it appears that Skip Holtz has found a new home in the Big East as Head Coach of the University of South Florida Bulls.

According to the report, the school plans on announcing the hire of the now second coach in school history. He will replace the coach who started the program, Jim Leavitt who was fired just a few days ago for allegedly choking a player and then not being forthcoming in the ensuing investigation.
Holtz, son of the legendary coach and crazy broadcaster Lou, leaves East Carolina after having several years of success and a 38-27 record. He lead the to two Conference USA titles and fourn bowl games in his four seasons there.
