Well, he's back in the news...
Dupay, 29, once a popular figure during the Gators' run to the 2000 NCAA men's basketball championship game, has been charged in Utah with rape, kidnapping and sexual assault — all first-degree felonies, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The Summit County Sheriff's Department released this mugshot. Attractive, eh?
Oopsie!
According to court documents, the victim - who admitted to a two-year relationship with Dupay - suffered two broken ribs and bruises on her back, right thigh, upper arm and shoulder after she estimated Dupay hit or kicked her 150 times. Yikes.
When questioned by authorities, Dupay said the two had "gotten a little rough," but denied the rape. His position? "How can you rape someone you love?" said Dupay.
I don't know, Teddy. You tell me.
