The Dirty Dozen and Bottom of the Barrel Return!

Because we know you, the College Football fan missed it oh so much, we bring you a staple of the OSG Sports Website, a perennial favorite to someone...hopefully besides me, it is none other than the return of "The Dirty Dozen" and the "Bottom of the Barrel". Sit back, keep reading and feel free to offer your own opinions.

The intro from the You Tube:

The Dirty Dozen:

1) Florida (1-0). Goes without saying right now, but can't they at least play a real football team to start a season? (next vs. Troy)
2) Texas (1-0). They go to Wyoming this week. Curious, though it shouldn't be a problem. I'm impressed they actually are traveling to play a lesser team...see that Gay-tors...(next vs. Wyoming)
3) Alabama (1-0). Count me as impressed. Good game against Virginia Tech, they have a few things to work out, but they should be fine. (next vs. Florida International)
4) Penn State (1-0). The best of the Big 10. They shouldn't have a problem with the 'Cuse this week. (next vs. Syracuse)
5) USC (1-0). For lack of an alternative. I'm not sold on these guys. They will jump up in most peoples eyes if they beat Ohio State, but that isn't a huge to do this year. (next vs. Ohio State)
6) Oklahoma State (1-0). Good team, good win vs. Georgia. Still the #2 team in their conference, but will be interesting to watch. (next vs. Houston)
7. Ole Miss (1-0). Off to a good start, living on some hype. Watch out for the flu bug which has hit them hard this week. (next vs. SE Louisiana)
8. BYU (1-0). Very nice win vs. Oklahoma. Tough schedule, can they keep up the magic? We'll have to wait and see, but they warrant this now. (next vs. Tulane)
9. Boise State (1-0). Good win last week, despite what happened at the end of the game. That may have been the toughest game on the schedule. Good things on the horizon. (next vs. Miami (Ohio))
10. Ohio State (1-0). They were lucky to beat Navy. I'm not as impressed as the pollsters, they are here on reputation only. They may not be here after this week. (next vs. USC)
11. LSU (1-0). I like this team this year. The defense is still a work in progress, if they get better, look out. (next vs. Vanderbilt)
12. Georgia Tech (1-0). They are the best team in the ACC this year, though we don't know if that really means much. Wouldn't want to play them though. (next vs. Clemson)

The Bottom of the Barrel:

5. SMU (1-0). They will have to earn there way off this list. Beating the Bionic men of Stephen F. Austin won't be enough. (next vs. UAB)
4. Western Kentucky (1-0). Not seeing it. Humiliated by Tennessee last week. They may belong in 1-AA. (next vs. South Florida)
3. Duke (0-1). Guess everyone was over-optimistic about these guys in the preseason. Losing to Richmond, a decent but not great 1-AA team is not good. (next vs. Army)
2. Virginia (0-1). A loss to Bill and Mary. Wow! How the mighty have fallen. They potentially may not win a game this season. Al Groh may need to update his resume...soon. (next vs. TCU)
1. Washington State (0-1). Last years champ stays #1 since they have to be #1 at something. They started off the way they finished, embarrassed. (next loss vs. Hawaii)
