In the continuing and ongoing shake-up at the NHL Players' Association, Glenn Healy – the director of player affairs under Paul Kelly – resigned today.
“It happened five minutes ago,” confirmed Healy just after 1 p.m. Thursday.
Healy's resignation came roughly three days after Kelly was fired as the association's executive director early Monday morning following a meeting of the NHLPA executive board in a Chicago hotel. Pat Flatley, the association's assistant director of player affairs, resigned his position shortly after Kelly was informed that he was being fired.
