South Alabama Wins First-Game Ever

RB Brandon Ross ran for 139 yards and two touchdowns as the South Alabama Football Jaguars beat Hargrave Military Academy 30-13. WR Courtney Smith goes down in the history books for scoring the Jag's first points: a 60 touchdown reception from QB Myles Gibbons.

South Alabama's defense gave up just 106 yards rushing while recording 5 quarterback sacks.
