THURSDAY EARLY UPDATE: Pete Christy at KCBD-TV in Lubbock is saying that Baylor head coach Art Briles is out of the running for the TT job.
Briles has a $4-million buyout, and as those of us at the HQ have surmised repeatedly, the Red Raiders administration is looking to be a little more economical with the hire they make.
This leaves Tuberville, Tommy Bowden, Kevin Sumlin, and Ruffin McNeill on the clock...
