DEVELOPING: Suspect Arrested In Stow Beating--UPDATED WITH NAME

A suspect has been taken into custody in the opening baseball season weekend beating of a Giants fan at the Los Angeles Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Authorities believe the man in custody is one of the two attackers who severely beat Bryan Stow in a Dodgers Stadium parking lot. The 42-year-old northern California paramedic was beaten into a coma and was only recently transferred back home to a San Francisco hospital for treatment.

**EVENING UPDATE**--Police have ID'd the suspect, he is 31-year old Giovanni Ramirez. Ramirez is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $1 million bond

Los Angeles police also say several people have been detained for questioning after search warrants were served in the case. The suspect was arrested early Sunday morning local time as an apartment complex was surrounded by LA police.
