You all remember Josh Jarboe, don't you...?
Josh was a very talented high-school wide receiver in suburban Atlanta who was well on his way to losing a national championship game at the University of Oklahoma until he released a rather-expletive laden and sexually suggestive rap on youtube thinking no one would watch it.
"Silly rabbit... Trix are for kids..."
OU head coach Bob Stoops had had enough of his stylings and released him from his scholarship. Josh ended up at Troy University where his New Orleans Bowl future seemed secure until the following... he was arrested Sunday and charged with misdemeanor harassment.
From Drew Champlin's piece...
"According to an arrest report obtained by the Dothan Eagle, Jarboe, 19, of Atlanta, was arrested at Stewart Hall, a dining facility. No description of the harassment was on the arrest report.
The report did say that Jarboe was sober, did not resist arrest, was not armed and that there were no injuries. The arresting officer is listed as Harold Purifoy. On the report, it says Jarboe was arrested “on view,” meaning the officer was there and the report showed no warrant was issued at the time of arrest."
As a reminder, here's Josh's award-winning rap from last year...Ah, youth...
