Monday College Tackle Football Update

A couple of guys are going pro...

Southern Miss linebacker Gerald McRath and North Carolina WR Hakeem Nicks ((the four-letter through Joe Schad))

South Carolina LB Eric Norwood has, apparently, changed his mind...

A couple of coaches are on the move as well...

Nick Holt is leaving USC to be with Steve Sarkisian as Defensive Coordinator at Washington, and Jacksonville Jaguars assistant Tom Williams is leaving to become the new head football coach at Yale... ((yahoosports))

Jay Boulware is heading to Auburn to join The Chizik's staff from Iowa State. He'll be the special teams guru. Trooper Taylor is on campus to join coach-mate Curtis Luper from Oklahoma State. Taylor was co-offensive coordinator in Stillwater and should be in a similar capacity on the Plains. ((al.com))

But one coach is staying... Rodney Garner, wooed seriously by the University of Tennessee, is staying at the University of Georgia... ((ajc.com))

By the way, here's the main reason that Hakeem Nicks stock went through the roof this bowl season... we return you to the bowl game in Charlotte that takes care of your car...

A reception most foul...
