Alabama In Trouble Again With NCAA

The University of Alabama is once again having to answer some tough questions from the NCAA. According to the Birmingham News, the NCAA has alleged that the University committed "potentially major" rules violations by "failing to monitor" its student-athlete textbook distribution program. Not only that, Alabama officials self reported the violations and self imposed penalties of its own.

Alabama is pleading mercy with the NCAA asking them to recognize that the athletes themselves did not intend to commit a violation and that the University has fixed that system.

The University is also hoping (begging) that their self imposed penalties will be satisfactory to the NCAA. A spokesman from the NCAA didn't say if the organization would have response.

yep...just like the PEDs the night before the NCAA Football Championship game. It's not enough that the same guy who sold to Ray Lewis (who also was allowed to get away with it), gave open testimony and sworn statements that he not only sold but showed a minimum of eight (8) players how to use the drugs and not get caught.
