An Atlanta Falcons player was arrested this week, reportedly after a fight with his wife over a Facebook friend.

Offensive tackle Quinn Ojinnaka, 25, was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, according to jail records. He was released about four hours later after posting a $2,400 bond.

Ojinnaka ((pictured, thanks rotoworld.com)) was arrested at his home in Suwanee after he fought with his wife and spat at her during an argument over a female friend of his on the social networking Web site, Facebook, according to a police report.
The altercation happened as Ojinnaka was preparing to watch a basketball game Tuesday night, the police report said.

Ojinnaka told police his wife tried to stab him with a pen, and she said he threw her on some stairs before tossing her out of the house, the police report said.

Neither Ojinnaka nor his wife complained of injuries and declined medical assistance, police said.
Ojinnaka, who played college football at Syracuse University, was selected by the Falcons in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL draft.
